Lane College

Lane College has been a blessing of an experience.  Though a 90 mile commute from Memphis, TN, I was happy to join the band staff, under the direction of Cozbia Smith.  Smith and I, along with Percussion Instructor- Jeff Thomas and Auxiliary Coordinators- Terresa Tate and Michelle Mitchell, have had the opportunity of growing this band program virtually from scratch.  I serve as Assistant Band Director, Chief Arranger and Jazz Band Director.  The Lane College "Marching Quiet Storm" Band has been an integral learning tool in my love for arranging music for band.  I continue to challenge my arranging for different ensembles; with that, I created a New Orleans Style Brass Band at Lane.
